"The great questions that have troubled the country are about the authority of the magistrates and the liberty of the people."
Since the magistrates is the highest form of government that enforce the law and sentence those that are guilt of a crime. The country wants to see to it that the liberty of the people are not violated. Our liberty to govern ourselves according to our free will but to take responsibility for or actions. It is morally right to punish someone for breaking the rules that are set before us. It is a way to stabilized the country and the liberty of the people. After all the magistrates doesn't elect themselves the people of the country do. You cannot always agree with their decision but you must obey their rulings.
I choose this quote because often time we the people see magistrates abusing their power. Sometime they don't always make the right decision but we need to be more careful who we select to represent the people.
